However, the facts and circumstances of each case must be evaluated based upon the applicable laws and policy language, in most cases, regardless of who is operating it, you would be covered for the following benfits :
- Damage to another craft or dock
- Bodily injury or death to another person due to your negligence
- The negligence of another driver while using your PWC
- Towed water skiers or wake boarders who become injured while using your craft
- Physical damage to the hull, machinery and equipment
- Injury caused by an uninsured watercraft operator
It is important that your read your policy because some coverages are optional and must be selected for you to have those benefits.

Five people went out on the choppy waters of Jamaica Bay in a 13- to 14-foot pleasure boat on Friday, a night that saw flooding in some neighborhoods of Queens. The boat capsized near Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, on the bay’s western edge, the authorities said.
Several people were rescued after their boat capsized in Jamaica Bay on Friday night amid heavy wind and rain, the authorities said.
Two passengers were taken to Beth Israel Medical Center in cardiac arrest, the police said. The Fire Department described their conditions as “very serious.”

KOS, Greece — Dawn was breaking over a beach near Kos harbor, and the first swimmers threaded their way between orange beach umbrellas into the sea.
Suddenly, a black rubber dinghy burst out of the grayness. It tacked rapidly toward the beach, and the life-jacketed young men on board began ululating with joy. Migrants, they had made it across the narrow stretch of water from Turkey to the Greek island of Kos, and what they hope will be a safer and more prosperous life in the European Union.
