Beginners Guide to Sailing

Sailing is the process of controlling a boat using very large fabrics foils called sails. The sailor changes the rudder, rigging and the centre board the sailors can be in a position to force the winds on the sails so that the sailor can change the direction in which the boat is heading to and also the speed. There are some places and especially in Africa where sail powered fishing vessels are still in use, these types of fishing vessels have become so rarer because modified and outboard engine are available even in the poorest countries.
